San Pablo Elementary, Fletcher Junior and Douglas Anderson - Jacksonville public schools provided me with an incredible educational experience. And today, my son walks those same halls.
My pursuit of knowledge took me to Gainesville and NYC. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Florida, and later in NYC, a Master’s in Public Administration at the City University of New York.
My entire career has been at the intersection of local government and public service. From community centers to town halls, I’ve listened, learned, and advocated for positive change.
As the Director of Social Programs at BEAM (Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry), I was able to make a difference daily in the lives of Beach residents. In my current role as Health Promotions Manager for Feeding North East Florida, I get to work on higher level initiatives that directly impact our community.
I’ve seen what remains unchanged in Jax Beach—the iconic local businesses, the spirit of the locals, a sense of community pride.
But I’ve also witnessed change—the rising burden on beach residents, the influx of investors. We stand at a crossroads, and our voices matter.
The ones who built Jacksonville Beach—the residents, the business owners—they hold the keys to our future. Their stories, their wisdom—that's my compass.
I promise to listen, to respect the vital knowledge that exists in our area, and to fight for a community that thrives without losing its heart.
I am a proud Jax Beach native and have the experience and drive to address some of our most urgent needs - public safety, smart growth, and resident-focused governance.
These critical next years will define us. Will Jacksonville Beach fulfill the vision of investors and developers, or will it remain true to the people who call it home? I know where I stand.
Beach residents deserve a City Council that shares their priorities.
I can't do this without you. I need your ideas, enthusiasm and support.
On Election Day, let’s choose a City Council that listens to residents before developers and is more impressed with who they serve than special interest groups.
Together, we’ll ensure that Jacksonville Beach remains the vibrant, resilient community we cherish.
